Frantoio. Medium intensity Tuscan variety. Gold medal winner at Olives NZ awards and Royal Easter Show awards. Best in Class award (Olives NZ Boutique).
Judges tasting notes: Cut grass, lemon balm, with good transfer from nose to palate. Black pepper. Good persistence of olive fruit to balance the lingering pungency.
Koroneiki. Medium intensity Greek variety. Gold medal winner at Olives NZ awards and Royal Easter Show awards.
Judges tasting notes: A heady aroma – pine, jasmine, spices. Cut grass in the palate. Light chilli pepper pungency that builds. Excellent complexity and persistence.
Waikawa Glen Blend. Frantoio, Koroneiki and Leccino varieties. Medium intensity. Gold medal winner at Olives NZ awards, as well as best in class, and Reserve Best in Show (Boutique). Only available in 250 ml bottles.
Judges tasting notes: Pine, floral notes on the nose. In the mouth banana, feijoa. Good complexity for flavours and persistence of fruit. A beautiful harmonious oil.
